# Crafting Rules

<figure><img src="/files/CGA2TKYs7WCgsM5XM8rf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**\[Judge Ethan]** There is no official RoboBattles kit to buy. In the spirit of sustainability, the crafting rules are designed to allow players to get creative with any LEGO® parts they already have. If your robot looks like a tornado dropped a LEGO® Store onto a petting zoo, you're on the right track. 🐇🧱🐐

1. Robots must include original, unmodified LEGO® parts.
   1. No tapes, glues, or other non-LEGO® materials are allowed, except for batteries.&#x20;
2. Every robot must include 1 [Technic™ Hub](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=ijmwixbQ9tg\&mid=13923\&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lego.com%2Fen-us%2Fproduct%2Ftechnic-hub-88012\&u1=guide).
3. Every robot must include 1-3 [Technic™ Large Motors](https://click.linksynergy.com/deeplink?id=ijmwixbQ9tg\&mid=13923\&murl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.lego.com%2Fen-us%2Fproduct%2Flarge-angular-motor-88017\&u1=guide).
4. Every robot must include 1 pilot minifigure.
