Build Your Arena
[Judge Ethan] *FWEEET* 🎺💨 Hey, this safety barrier is still wobbly! Can someone get a wrench on this thing? 🔧 We've had enough runaway robots for one season.
Where was I? Oh right, battle arenas! Not every battle happens in a stadium. Smaller battles happen every day all over Stardust Springs. Here's how to set up your own battle arena:
Find floor space. A 6'x6' square is best, but anything can work as long as long as there's space for robots to roam. Try for a solid floor surface like wood or tile. Carpets, especially fluffy ones, don't work well because robots get stuck.
Mark the arena. If you have long pieces of material like pipe or wood, you can use that to create a barrier. Otherwise, you can put down something flat like string or tape. I recommend this awesome caution tape.
Dress it up. Consider setting up some action lighting. A couple of these at the corners of the arena make for some intense competition. When it's time to battle, turn off your room lights and drop a playlist.
