Turn on your hub

If your hub is off, press the green button to turn it on.

The light should be fading on and off.

Turn on your controller

Press and hold the Xbox button until the button lights up. The light will slowly flash, then turn solid once it has connected to your hub.

If the controller won't connect, pair it to the hub:

1. Make sure the controller is on.

2. Press and hold the pair button (the small black button on top of the controller near the USB port) until the controller light starts blinking fast.

The light will turn solid once it has paired.

Stop your program any time by pressing the green button on your hub.

When you're finished using your robot, press and hold the green button to turn it off.

Troubleshooting

The hub won't light up.

Make sure you've installed all six AA batteries, and that they are fully charged and facing the right direction.

The hub light keeps blinking blue. It won't switch to fading blue.

Make sure you've loaded a program onto the hub, and that the program has no bugs.

The controller won't light up.

Make sure you've installed two AA batteries, and that they are fully charged and facing the right direction.

The controller won't connect.

Turn your hub off and on again.

Make sure the light on the hub is fading on and off .

Then repeat the pairing steps.

The controller connects, but it immediately turns off and the hub light goes back to blinking blue.

A bug in your code is causing the program to crash. Try removing lines one at a time until it works.
